Quick context on me, I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and had no connections when I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of filmmaking. After YEARS of struggling, I finally broke through when my short film SOULS OF TOTALITY earned an Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The experience literally changed my career, presenting incredible opportunities. I've produced over a dozen short films and become alum of festivals all over the world including: 2x-time SXSW, 3x Tribeca, 5x Palm Springs ShortFest, 7x HollyShorts and well over a hundred other festivals. My films have won over 30 awards at major festivals like SXSW and other Oscar-qualifiers.

I share this because before my first time at Tribeca, I tried and failed again and again to get into festivals. It's extremely competitive to get into top tier festivals but there are ways to improve your chances. I'm living proof. Without any connections, I've managed to build a portfolio of award-winning films, raise money, work with well-known actors, get repped and move onto bigger projects.
